Project
Mercy Clinic

The Mercy Greenwood Clinic stands as an example of progress and efficiency, nestled on a 4.5+ acre lot in Greenwood, Arkansas. This state-of-the-art primary care facility spans an impressive 10,670 square feet. Designed to serve the healthcare needs of the community, this clinic represents the culmination of Mercy’s commitment to innovation and patient-centered care.
As one approaches the clinic, the first striking feature is the sleek and contemporary façade, a departure from Mercy’s traditional clinic design.
Upon entering the clinic, patients are greeted by a spacious and inviting gallery-style waiting area, bathed in natural light filtering through expansive glass windows. The use of glass creates a seamless transition between the interior and exterior, fostering a sense of openness and connection with the surrounding landscape.
The layout of the clinic is meticulously designed to optimize operational efficiencies and patient flow. A total of 22 exam rooms, equipped with the latest medical technology, are distributed throughout the facility, ensuring prompt and convenient access to care. Adjacent to the exam rooms, specialized areas such as X-ray, lab, and vaccine prep are seamlessly integrated, facilitating coordination between healthcare providers and support staff.
The Greenwood Clinic represents the first implementation of Mercy’s new prototype, developed in collaboration with BUF Studio. This prototype sets a new standard for primary care facilities, prioritizing both operational efficiencies and patient comfort. By embracing innovative design principles and leveraging cutting-edge technology, Mercy continues to redefine the healthcare landscape, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care in a welcoming and conducive environment.
