Grooms Office Environments’ new 16,500-square-foot facility reimagines a former furniture showroom within an existing pre-engineered metal building (PEMB), transforming it into a cohesive, experience-driven workplace and showroom. The design organizes open display areas, a dedicated finishes and specifications library, and a range of offices, conference rooms, and breakout spaces to support both daily operations and client engagement. Clean planning and layered materiality combining durable finishes with warm, residential-inspired elements create a balance between functionality and comfort, allowing the space to flex between workplace, showroom, and collaborative environment.

Interior spaces are complemented by hospitality-focused amenities, including a large kitchen and dining area for events and a residential-style family room for informal meetings and product demonstrations. Extending beyond the building envelope, the exterior design activates the site with a heated patio, fireplace, and a private lawn featuring fire pits, a bar, and a stage. Together, the architectural and interior strategies create a seamless indoor-outdoor experience that enhances product display, fosters community, and reflects the company’s design-forward approach.
