Angela Blue

Structural Engineer

Angela graduated from Kansas State University with concurrent degrees – a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering and a Bachelors of Architecture. She began her career working as a structural designer in a full service firm, working alongside architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and construction managers. Her passion for design and engineering was nurtured early on by parents who filled her childhood with building blocks, construction sets, and creative toys—embracing STEM education long before it became a widespread movement. After obtaining her engineering license, she became co-owner of a structural engineering consulting firm. For nearly 20 years, she developed relationships within the design industry while working on a variety of project types and structural systems. Angela takes pride in maintaining relationships, working together to solve design challenges, and using her knowledge to bring designs to life. Angela is also a licensed architect, which enables her to bring a unique perspective to design. Her understanding of the importance of design concepts allows her to work closely with the project designers to streamline the design process. Angela enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time exploring and fishing in the mountains of Colorado.
